South-Russian Interregional Olympiad for Schoolchildren “Architecture and Art. South-Russian Interregional Olympiad for Schoolchildren "Architecture and Art"

Earlier, we talked about additional alternative ways to get into the budget of an architectural university. We discussed benefits for targeted and disabled people, as well as programs for foreign citizens. Read more about this in the article " A kind fairy tale with a happy ending about ways to get a budget for an architectural university". Among other things, we touched upon the topic of architectural competitions. Today we will take a closer look at this little-known method.

Victory in a specialized Olympiad can give you additional points, the right to enroll in a university without any exams, or for one of the creative tests you are automatically given 100 points. Naturally, these requirements are set by universities on their own, and all these subtleties need to be found out directly in the selection committee. Also, not all universities can accept the results of Olympiads from the list recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Very important question- the application of this benefit. Some universities accept your Olympic result only if you have confirmed it with your USE scores. Whether this procedure is required in a particular creative university should also be clarified in the selection committee.

In addition, in the summer on the site "Ucheba.ru" came out about tightening the verification of Olympiads. The article also says that there will be fewer benefits, and only a few will be able to break into the ranks of the winners. When these changes will come into force, and how this will affect admission to creative universities, is not yet known.

Interesting tasks that will help in the future in studies. Thanks to her, she was able to enter the AAI SFU. The following year she participated in the organization of the Olympiad. It was pretty interesting

Participated in the Olympics when I was at school. Last year I helped as a manager-organizer. YURMOSH is a real chance to facilitate admission in the 11th grade, from bonuses - the winners receive a grant while studying at the university. The Olympiad is held in an organized and fair manner, it is impossible to find out the topics before opening the envelope in which they are located. Managers supervise the participants, they help to register and fill in the forms.

As a manager, YURMOSH gave the skills of teamwork, filling and sorting papers, of course, a lot of positive moments during the preparation, providence for the Olympics and after it.
