On this winter holiday.

Without your participation.

And we want with all our hearts
Give gifts
You, the most beautiful men
And say glory to you.

(We invite someone to the stage)

Occurs between people
So that it doesn't hurt you,
May our Lord protect you.

You can cut with your tongue.
We wish you with love
Cut tracing paper and cardboard.

If the insulation is suddenly damaged,

Here you of course need electrical tape.

No wife-wife
We give you the “Seamstress” set,

His eternal lessons, giving peace.

Be happy, brothers!

Harvest Festival
Riddles about spiritual gifts

1. This fruit comes in different sizes. At the same time, it can increase and decrease. It cannot be bought with any wealth of this world and is acquired from the words heard. If this fruit is good, then after you try it, you want to do good deeds. This fruit gives us life. (faith)

2. This fruit comes in two types. The first is quite small, but very attractive, the other is huge in size, but cannot be described in words. The first one is found everywhere on earthly roads, and the other one needs to be looked for. Sometimes it is found where you don’t expect to find it: for example, in sadness or trial. This fruit grows in the gardens of peacemakers and philanthropists. It is called the waiting of the righteous. This fruit was brought to people by the birth of Jesus Christ. (joy)

3. This fruit is the largest, the most delicious and the most desirable for man, which is why it is called the totality of perfection. It is so huge that even all the waters of our planet cannot cover it. If we share it with others, it becomes even greater. Having tasted this fruit, we forget all our fears and our soul blossoms. This wonderful fruit contains such life-giving substances and vitamins as patience, mercy, humility, peace and many, many others. No matter how much we eat it, we will never eat it all. (Love)

4. This fruit looks very beautiful and at first seems to be very sweet, but when you swallow it, you feel the bitter taste of rot. Despite this, it is called the fruit of the gods. In ancient times, this fruit was brought to temples for donations; now it can be found in almost every home and in a place of honor. This fruit has such harmful substances as fornication, impurity, passion, lust and many, many others. (idolatry)

5. This fruit is very poisonous and needs to be immediately thrown into the trash. You can't even touch him. If we suddenly try it, our body is completely poisoned, even our bones rot. If we have tasted the harmful pulp of this fruit, then, having fallen ill, we involuntarily infect those around us. And some people feel very bad. Where this fruit appears, there is always disorder and everything is bad. (envy)

6. They say about this fruit that it is the largest on the whole earth, although it grows from the smallest, almost invisible, seed. It is the most poisonous of all fruits and vegetables. They also say that there are more people eating this fruit than there are hairs on our heads. In such people, the heart and brain are primarily affected, they become blind and no longer see anything around them. People begin to do the most disgusting evil to others that can only exist on earth. And the worst thing is that this fruit brings death with its juices. (hatred)

Give it to him to the fullest, as only You can give!
And may he be happy all his days, and if this is not possible, then at least to some extent.
Grant him good health and the love of his neighbors, understanding and sympathy...
Make sure that his soul always shines with only love for everything that exists, protect him from bad language,
from resentment and envy, from wars and deaths, from physical and mental pain, if all this is inevitable,
- don’t leave him even then, give him consolation. Save for him everything that is dear to him on earth.
If it’s too late to ask for this, don’t deprive him of his memory...
I don’t know whether the one reading this prayer for him now believes in You, but even if he doesn’t believe in You: help him!
Let him feel that he is not alone, that he is needed and loved...
My merciful and kind Lord! Fulfill this wish of mine!
Fulfill it so that before my eyes close, I can say:
"Thank you, Lord! You hear me.

4TH CHARACTER: At the end of the road there will be God himself.

FRIEND: Great!

LEADING:

Brings multiplied fruit to Christ.

Everyone leaves the stage. Only the HOST remains. He approaches a large painted tree (or one made from real branches and hangs fruits on it, on which are written: PEACE, LOVE, etc. according to the words of the text)

LEADING: In such a person there are the fruits of the Spirit, Jesus Christ is full of beauty

Let's repeat them again now.

The first of them is LOVE.

The next two, as Paul taught,

It’s not hard to remember: JOY and PEACE

To all of us from you according to the teaching

You must have LONG PATIENCE

And growing from year to year

Let us grow the fruit of GOODness.

Let's be kind, let's be diligent,

Let us show MERCY to the suffering and the poor

Whoever serves Christ, let him have without measure

Worthy, strong, persistent FAITH

God's servant cares about God's things

Has humility and MEEKNESS in the heart

And finally, as God's creatures,

We will strive for ABSTINENCE.

So in good soil the seed grows,

Brings multiplied fruit to Christ.
THE SOWER Appears
LEADING: A sower went into the field with grain and sowed;

And the wind scattered those grains everywhere.

SOWER: Tell me, friends, what about your grain?

What fruits does it bear?

END

After all, the meek wins without a doubt

Enemies of all with your meekness.

2. PARABLE OF THE WEDDING FEAST

Novorossiysk, 1999
KING: Finally, my son is getting married.

Slave, ra-ab! Take the list. Call everyone!

Let all those who are called come as one.

I will throw a feast in honor of love.

SLAVE: I will do everything, my lord!

You are waiting for your guests at the feast.

The slave leaves and returns after a while.

SLAVE: King, they don’t want to go!

Perhaps we can find others?

KING: But my lunch is already ready.

And I call my close friends.

He slaughtered the best bulls for them.

Go to them again quickly.

My son is blessed to be married!

I won’t accept any refusal...

The slave leaves again and returns after a while.

KING: Oh, what's wrong with you, my faithful servant?

You are all wounded... So weak.

SLAVE: Oh my lord, only me

Of all the slaves, he was the only one left alive.

Others went to the fields,

And the rest of the people gathered,

Your slaves were killed.

I escaped their axes.

TSAR: Well, well, let my troops

They will burn their city without pity

But where to look for guests now?

After all, my son is getting married! He's young.

He wants a holiday! Oh yes!

Oh my slave, come here.

Go outside and call

All passersby to the feast of love!

And he is glad to see every guest!

Let both the evil and the good come,

Dressed in festive attire!

People are coming. The king speaks to the people.
KING: I have called you to a wedding feast,

My son wanted to get married.

Feast on the dishes, little bodies!

Today is a big holiday for us!

Let everyone rejoice with me!

The king sees a man not dressed in festive clothes.

KING: And you, my friend, are not dressed like that.

Are there no festive clothes? (he is silent)

Hey servants! Here, tie him up.

Into the outer darkness now

Take him away quickly.

Let them reach him

Terrible, terrible grinding of teeth.

And sad crying cuts your heart!
SLAVE: Why execute him like that?

After all, he didn't do anything.

KING: Understand, there are many called in the world,

Yes, there are few chosen, desired ones.

3. PSALM No. 1

Pantomime

CHARACTERS: husband - a person, the wicked - a group of people, leader

Words,

which the presenter reads

Actions,

Which actors should show at this time

Blessed is the husband

A man smiles and strokes his head with a satisfied look.

who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked

A group of people passes by him and calls him to follow them, but he refuses.

and does not stand in the way of sinners

A group of people is walking back, a man defiantly moves out of their way, giving way to them

and does not sit in the seat of the wicked,

The group sits down nearby and starts drinking alcohol, smoking, playing cards, etc., he is invited to sit on a chair, but he refuses

but his will is in the law of the Lord

A man folds his hands, raises his eyes to the sky, as if praying

and he meditates on His law day and night!

A man opens the Bible and meditates on it, scratching his head

And he will be like a tree

A man imitates a tree - spreads his arms to the sides

planted by streams of water

A man depicts waves - makes appropriate movements with his hands

which bears its fruit

Again, one hand to the side, like a branch, with the other he picks an apple from the same “branch” and bites it with relish

on time

A man looks at the watch on his hand and nods his head approvingly

and whose leaf does not wither

Again, arms to the sides, shake your hands, depicting the trembling of leaves

and in everything he does, he will succeed

The man looks at his watch and hurriedly walks away

Not so - the wicked

The group should do its own thing all this time, but not very actively, so as not to divert the main attention to itself. At these words, everyone gets up and goes to the middle of the stage. The man on the side seems to be threatening with his index finger.

but they are like dust blown by the wind

The man begins to blow on them, they fly away from his “wind”

Therefore the wicked will not stand in judgment

The man imperiously points at them with his right hand, as if pronouncing a sentence. Some people from the group fall to the floor (they can sit on their knees)

and sinners in the assembly of the righteous

The man points to those who are still standing, now these people are falling

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous

The group stands up. They and the man turn their backs to each other. A man leaves the stage in one direction

but the way of the wicked will perish.

The group goes the other way

4. PARABLE ABOUT LOCKED TALENT

(Matt. 25:14-30)

Author of poems: Kozhakina Victoria,

Novorossiysk, 1999
HOST: A man, going to a foreign country, called his servants and entrusted them with his property: and to one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his strength; and immediately set off.
Mister: So I’m getting ready for the journey.

I'm going to a foreign country.

I want someone to stay

And would have saved it for me,

All the silver that I leave behind.

Here, five talents, my slave

I calmly trust you.

You'll return it when I arrive. Their.

1ST SLAVE: I will keep them, master

And I will return everything to you as one!

Mister: I will give you two talents,

(to the second slave) Guard them like the apple of your eye.

I will reward you for your work myself,

When I come from afar.

2ND SLAVE: I will keep them carefully,

To return it to the master!

Mister: Only one talent left

(to the 3rd slave) And if you save it,

I'll be very, very happy.

Wait for my return!

3RD SLAVE: I will vigilantly guard,

So that I can give it to you later!

Mister: I gave you talents according to your strength!

I hope I didn't make a mistake!

HOST: He who received five talents went and put them to work and acquired another five talents; in the same way, the one who received two talents acquired the other two; He who received one talent went and buried it in the ground and hid his master’s money. After a long time, the master of those slaves comes and demands an account from them.
Mister: The foreign side is beautiful!

But ours is still cuter!

And only now it became clear to me

How I missed her!

But what about my talents?

How did you manage them?

1ST SLAVE: You entrusted me with five talents.

I put them to use.

I got ten talents!

Mister: You turned out to be a smart slave.

I tried to act wisely!

Once in small things you were faithful to me,

I'll give you a big deal!

2ND SLAVE: I also invested two of mine

I got four for them.

Mister: I trusted you for a reason

I'm quite pleased with you.

Since you bravely dealt with little things,

I'll give you a big deal!

3RD SLAVE: Oh, you are cruel, my master!

Without sowing, he reaped and gathered without scattering.

You gave me one talent.

I buried it, wanting

Save your talent from all thieves.

I'm ready to give it to you!

Mister: You are so crafty, lazy and stingy!

You turned out to be very stupid.

Would you give your talent to someone

Who managed to do ten out of five?

And it would bring him profit.

After all, who dared to multiply this,

And henceforth he will receive.

I will drive the slave into the darkness,

There will be teeth gnashing!

And tears will break his heart!

HOST: For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.
END

5. PARABLE OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN

Novorossiysk, 1999

HOST: One day a traveler was going to Jericho.

He was peaceful and calm.

But then the robbers attacked him,

But he couldn't do anything!

1st BIGGER: Take your wallet quickly,

Hold him so he can't escape!

2nd BIGGER: You beat him too much,

Leave him alone. May he be alive.

HOST: The traveler remained barely alive.

The priest walked along that road

PRIEST: Oh, poor thing, you are all wounded!

Nobody will give you water!

However, I need to hurry!

I should be at church soon!

HOST: And he went about his business.

The Levite stopped there.

LEVITE: Who could beat him like that?

How can the earth carry them?

Let others take care of him

I have no time, and I have nothing to do with it.

HOST: So our traveler was left alone,

But suddenly a donkey appeared in the distance.

A man is sitting on it.

He got down. He looks at the traveler.

And it’s clear that he doesn’t leave,

May be. Our traveler is saved?!

SAMARITAN: Oh, what's the matter with you? You're all beaten up!

And blood runs from your wounds!

TRAVELER: They wanted to kill me,

Yes, for some reason they regretted it.

SAMARITAN: I will heal wounds with oil,

I'll give you some water to drink.

Come to the hotel with me!

My donkey is at your service.

TRAVELER: But I won’t be able to pay,

After all, before beating you like that,

They robbed me.

But still thank you!

SAMARITAN: Well, I'll pay for you,

After all, I want to help you!

HOST: He took care of him.

And I want to say about

That we must love our neighbors

And the neighbor is the same. Who cares,

Our care and love.

Good will return to us again!

6. TEN VIRGINS

(Parable in verse)
HOST: The last time has come

Living now on earth.

It became sad, it became sad

In nations, churches and in families.

All people are now indifferent.

Nothing scares anyone.

Only a heaviness fell on their souls,

And in their hearts there is a coldness.

But time is running out.

And soon our Bridegroom will come.

Ready for the feast He is with Him

He will take you to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Let's look at the picture.

What Jesus showed us

About the Kingdom of Heaven and the Virgins,

What lesson did He give us in it?

Our bridegroom ascended to heaven

And soon He will come again.

Here the maidens come out to meet you,

To be with Him at the feast.

Ten maidens come out and sit in front.

1ST WISE: Ten of us came here,

So that we all can meet the Groom.

But will it come to earth soon,

We don't know the hour or the day.

But we, sisters, will try

Never sleep or doze all the time.

And cheerful, with a burning luminary

Look forward to it.

Our groom will be here soon,

Perhaps at this very hour.

Look, wait with cheerfulness,

So that He does not meet us sleeping.

1st UNREASONABLE: This is how I reason to myself,

Perhaps it won't come soon.

Why be so afraid?

As if He is coming now?

2nd WISE WOMAN: Oh, my dear sisters!

We want to enter the feast with Him.

And sooner or later it will come,

Neither we nor this world know!

But let our light shine brightly,

And let there be oil in reserve.

And let love burn in your heart,

After all, He will come to take us soon.

2ND REASONABLE: This is how we think about ourselves

And we wait impatiently for Him.

And if he suddenly slows down there,

We will have time to meet Him.

3rd WISE WOMAN: Oh, sisters, why think about this,

What, He won’t come soon?

All we need to do now is believe.

To meet Him when He comes.

3rd UNREASONABLE: Some kind of heaviness finds

There is no strength to wait for Him anymore.

And it makes me very sleepy,

My lamp began to fade.

4TH WISE: For our encouragement here

Let's repeat the words together

From the book of Saint Matthew

Words of Jesus Christ.

Together: So stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour,

who will come the Son of Man.

4TH UNREASONABLE: If only the Long-awaited One would come soon,

So that we can stay at the feast.

The oil is already burning out,

And it's boring to wait

5th WISE: Oh, sisters, I see perfectly,

That the hour of sleep has come.

But let's be alert and ready,

So that he doesn't find us sleeping.

And I suggest to you, sisters,

Let's sing at least one song.

In which it is so clearly sung:

“Go to meet Him.”

Everyone is singing.

5TH UNREASONABLE: How long has our Groom not come.

And we have a little oil,

And our light is completely fading,

He will find us sleeping.

1ST WISE WOMAN: Oh, no, don’t try to sleep!

May be. What at this hour

Our long-awaited Groom will come

And he will find us sleeping!

Five foolish maidens begin to fall asleep with their heads bowed down.

2nd WISE WOMAN: Oh, sisters. Look, don't sleep,

After all, sleep is approaching you.

You keep your luminaries.

He will soon return to us.

Be ready to feast with Him

Heavenly and nuptial enter.

So that we don’t cry bitterly later,

Standing at the closed door.

Then he will tell you: “Go away,

Unhappy people, it's too late now.

I don’t know who you are, where you are from,

The door is already closed forever.”

3rd WISE: Let's stay awake a little,

Perhaps He will come soon.

And we will all come out to meet you boldly,

And he will take us all to the feast.

All 10 maidens fall asleep with their heads bowed.

HOST: Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who, taking their lamps, went out to meet the groom. Of these, five were wise and five were foolish. The foolish ones took their lamps and took no oil with them. The wise, together with their lamps, took oil in their vessels. And as the groom slowed down, everyone dozed off and fell asleep. But at midnight a cry was heard: behold, the groom is coming, come out to meet him.

CRIER: Here comes the groom!

Why did you fall asleep and sleep?

Get up from your sleep!

The groom is coming! Hurry up

To go out and meet Him!

Get up, get ready!

Light your lights.

Try to go faster

Hurry to the feast with him!

He's coming! Come out quickly

Toward. Testament is his voice

Let's feast on you. Come and see

So that He does not pass you by.

The five wise virgins rose, and the foolish ones slept.

1ST WISE: Now the scream has already been heard

Our groom is coming.

Why are we sleeping here?

He's waiting for us all there.

2ND WISE: Wake up your dear sisters quickly

Let them correct the light in their luminaries.

The 3rd Wise Maiden addresses the sleeping ones.

3rd WISE: Get up, why are you sleeping?

Get up, the groom is here!

Quickly light the lights,

He hasn't passed yet.

4TH WISE: Get up, because time does not wait for us!

Go to meet Christ.

After all, the doors can close!

Where will you go then?

Five foolish maidens awaken.

1ST UNREASONABLE: What's the matter? Why are you in such a hurry?

We'll have time to get out now.

Why are you yelling at us like that?

As if the door had already closed?

2nd WISE: We are awakening you!

Our groom has arrived!

How long will you sleep?

Let's meet halfway!

4TH UNREASONABLE: Oh, how can we go? Our light has gone out!

And we have no oil in our vessels at all.

Five foolish virgins turn to the wise.

UNREASONABLE: Please give your oil.

TOGETHER: Our lamps have completely gone out!
5TH WISE: We cannot do this,

So that I can give you the oil now.

Perhaps then there is a lack

Happen to you and to us.

So you better go

You all go to the sellers quickly.

And buy yourself some oil there,

So that the light shines brighter.

Foolish virgins go off to buy oil.

1ST WISE WOMAN: Oh, sisters, let’s go quickly

With a burning luminary in his hands.

We will hasten to the feast with the Bridegroom

And we will be with him in heaven.

They leave singing a psalm.

HOST: And when they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and they that were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut; then other virgins come.

2ND INDEPENDENT: Oh, where are our sisters, why aren’t they here?

And where can we look for them so that we can go together?

1ST INDEPENDENT: Their lights burned brightly,

And there was oil in the vessels.

As soon as the Groom knocked,

Everyone entered the feast before Him.

5TH UNREASONABLE: Why did we sleep, that our light went out?

Oh, what should we do? Where should we go?

All we have to do is knock on the door.

1st UNREASONABLE: And I suggest we go to the door

And we knock, will they not open it for us?

5TH UNREASONABLE: Why did we doze when our light went out?

And there was no more oil in our vessels.

Those five are at the feast now.

And we stayed here knocking on doors.

3rd UNREASONABLE: What are we going to do here now?

(crying) Standing at the groom's door?

Ask and pray. May be,

The gates will be opened for us.

4TH UNREASONABLE: What happens when they don’t let us in?

(with tears) To where there is a feast of the Bridegroom?

And they will say: we don’t know where.

Go into darkness forever!

Oh, woe will befall us all then,

When they won't let us in to Him.

We will remain, poor, insignificant

For sorrow, for shame, for blasphemy.

Friends, call with me,

So that they let us all in there,

Where are the wise maidens in the palace

They are always with Christ.

5TH INDEPENDENT: O our God! God! Open up to us!

We sincerely pray, let us in!

Open the gates for us quickly

Now it's too late, it's impossible to enter!

Foolish virgins fall to their knees screaming and cry out

1st UNREASONABLE: Our Lord! Open up to us

To the Bridegroom's Chamber

Login we bark

That heavenly door has closed forever!

2nd REASONABLE: Our Lord and our God! Open up to us!

(crying) Let us into the Bridegroom's feast.

We pray to you, Merciful One,

Let us in, let us in!

After all, we went out to meet,

And we had the light in our hands.

Only the oil was gone in the vessels.

That heavenly door has already closed for you!

Now don't knock, I don't know you!

And go away, your time has passed!

Foolish virgins, crying and sobbing, leave the door.

5th REASONABLE: We were careless, our oil became scarce.

And we became unhappy, we found ourselves at the door.

Christian production:

Fair of the Gods

Production in two acts
Premiere: December 17, 2006, Montreal
authors: Roman and Evgenia Sverlov

SUBJECT: This production is a grotesque take on the current spiritual state of the world and people who consider themselves Christians, but in reality are not. She encourages a person to think about his spirituality and what he is looking for in life: the Living true God or a convenient religion that satisfies all his needs and desires.

CHARACTERS:

  • Seller at the fair (aka Satan in the second act);
  • Buyers (6 people: men and women)
  • God's angel (in the second act)

ACT ONE: “AT THE FAIR”
Act one

Booth with a seller. Salesman sings a song, attracting people (music from the film “Ah, Vaudeville, Vaudeville”):

The first buyer appears on the scene. He approaches the booth of the seller of gods and asks him a question:

Buyer #1: Hello, do you really sell gods?

Salesman: Yes, sure. Come and fly. Buy it faster than God.

Buyer #1: I don’t need it any God, I only need Christian. Do you have one?

Salesman: So you have come to the right place. In this shop I sell only Christian gods. To you Which do you need god?

Buyer #1: What do you mean which one? I said: I need a Christian God.

Salesman: Describe in more detail the Christian god you want.

Buyer #1: Well... he is such a loving and generous god who takes care of all my needs. As soon as I pray and ask him for something, he will immediately answer me and give me everything. He will not refuse me anything and is always ready to fulfill my every desire.

Salesman: Ho-ho-ho! I have just what you need! ( goes to the store and returns holding Santa Claus in his hands) This is the god you need.

Buyer #1: (looking incredulously at the proposed god) Is this a Christian god?

Salesman: Well, of course, Christian! After all, he is very generous and loving. He fulfills your wishes and will never deny you anything.

Buyer #1: (joyfully) Thank you very much! ( gives money, takes God and leaves)

Act two

Booth with a seller. Salesman

I trade in gods.

You will see for yourself.

A second buyer appears on the scene. Approaching the seller, he asks him a question:

Buyer #2: Hello. Are you selling gods?

Salesman: Yes, of course: Come and swoop in. Buy it faster than God.

Buyer #2: It’s very good that I found you. Could you help me choose a god?

Salesman: With great joy. What kind of god would you like?

Buyer #2: I heard that God is omnipresent, and that he sees everything and knows everything. And when he sees people doing something wrong, he exposes them and punishes them.

Salesman: (meaningfully) Yes, I also heard about this...

Buyer #2: The fact is that I am not yet ready to give up my sinful life. But I still need God. And so that he doesn’t punish me for How I live in the world, I need it to see me only when I come to it. And so that he would remain silent and not punish me.

Salesman: (thinks for a moment and happily reports) What a score! I have just what you need!!! (he goes into the shop and returns, carrying the icon in his hand). Here I recommend it!

Buyer #2: (examining the icon, incredulously) And this Christian God?

Salesman: Well, of course! Here you see: the Holy Trinity. Place or hang it in a corner, and she will only see and hear you when you stand in front of her.

Buyer #2: Oh thank you! ( happily pays): Keep the change! ( leaves the stage)

Act three

Booth with a seller. Salesman sings the chorus from his song, attracting the people:

Well, what can I say? Well, what can I say?
I trade in gods.
My business will flourish -
You will see for yourself.

A potential buyer walks by, yawning around. The seller in the shop sees him and tries to lure him...

Salesman: Citizen, citizen! Do you happen to need God?

Buyer #3: And I’m already a believer. ( proudly) I'm a Christian!

Salesman: What, doesn’t a believer need God?

Buyer #3: (thinking for a moment) Hmm... actually necessary.

Salesman: So why do you refuse God if you are a believer?

Buyer #3: No, no... I'm not giving up on God. Just… ( hitch)

Salesman: What is simple"? Something not this way with your god?

Buyer #3: No, that’s how it is with my god. It's just... he's so demanding. It’s not enough for him that I regularly go to church and tithe. He demands a lot from me: read the Bible, attend Sunday school and all prayer meetings, help the pastor, participate in numerous church projects, and so on. It's too hard for me. I don't know who can bear this... ( lost in thought) Or maybe there is something wrong with me?

Salesman: (joyfully) So the problem is not with you, but with your God, and I know how to fix it.

Buyer #3: Yes? How?

Salesman: You need to purchase new God: one who will be satisfied with the fact that you regularly go to church on Sundays. I just have such a god in mind for you. ( goes into the shop and returns with a Catholic idol).

Buyer #3: (takes the idol in his hands and begins to twirl it and examine it from all sides) Is this a Christian god?

Salesman: Citizen, don’t you see a cross on it? Of course, Christian.

Buyer #3: So do you think I should buy it from you?

Salesman: Of course. Moreover, this is the last such god I have today. You are terribly lucky.

Buyer #3: Aha... the price is right... Okay, I'll buy it ( pays and leaves, talking to the deity he just bought). Now you and I will live! I will put you in the most prominent place and will take care of you...

Act Four

Booth with a seller. Salesman sings the chorus from his song, attracting the people:

Well, what can I say? Well, what can I say?
I trade in gods.
My business will flourish -
You will see for yourself.

A buyer approaches the booth, holding a pile of books he has just bought at the fair.

Buyer #4: What are you selling here? Not biblical literature by any chance?

Salesman: What are you looking for?

Buyer #4: Spiritual literature.

Salesman: May I ask which one?

Buyer #4: (showing newly purchased books) For example, I just bought several books: “Peace with God”, “True Christian”, “The ABCs of a Christian”, “Be Faithful”, “Window to Heaven”...

Salesman: Wow, you read so much? ( flatters) You must be such an erudite person!!!

Buyer #4: Yes, I'm a Christian. And Christians read a lot of spiritual literature.

Salesman: Oh, what an interesting god you have, that he makes you read so much spiritual literature...

Buyer #4: Actually, no. He doesn't force me to read all these books. He requires only one thing from me: regularly read and study His Word - the Bible and change. But I don’t have time to read the Bible: I’m very busy. Moreover, it is so big, and everything is written in it so incomprehensibly and confusingly that I cannot figure it out. And I cannot fully understand why God needs me to constantly read the Bible. And in general, why did he need to write such a big and thick book???

Salesman: (indignantly) I never understood this either. But it seems to me that there is a way out of your situation: you need God, who wrote ma-a-a-a-a-lazy the bible.

Buyer #4: Does such a god exist?

Salesman: Of course it exists. And what’s more, I have such a God in stock, along with his Bible. Want to buy?

Buyer #4: And I only need the Christian God ( pointing to his spiritual books).

Salesman: And I tell you another and I don't suggest it.

Buyer #4: (thoughtfully) Actually, you know... I already have a god. I will only buy a Bible from you. Fine?

Salesman: Wonderful! ( goes into the shop and returns carrying a thin Bible in his hands). Here, take a look... ( shows the "bible")

Buyer #4: (takes the “bible” in his hands, opens it, examines it and reads it):

  • God created heaven and earth and everything that fills them.
  • God breathed into man the breath of life.
  • God destroyed the earth with a flood.
  • God is love.
  • You are the salt of the earth.
  • I'm coming soon...
  • Amen.

Buyer #4: (perplexed) What is this?

Salesman: Bible! Can't you see? ( pointing to the cover that says "BIBLE")

    Buyer #4: And it's all???

Salesman: Of course everything... But you can read such a Bible several times a day. And your god will be very pleased with you. After all, this is his word!

Buyer #4: (surprised) Hmm.. I didn’t think that everything was so simple. And I shouldn’t have suffered so much...

Salesman: (addressing the public) Everything ingenious is simple! ( to the buyer) So are you taking it?

Buyer #4: Yes, yes, I'll take it. Please wrap it up. ( takes the purchase and leaves)

    Act five

Booth with a seller. Salesman sings the chorus from his song, attracting the people:

Well, what can I say? Well, what can I say?
    I trade in gods.
    My business will flourish -
    You will see for yourself.

A man stands up from the crowd of spectators and shouts indignantly, addressing the seller as gods:

Buyer #5: Why are you shouting like that?

Salesman: Come and swoop in. Buy it faster than God.

Buyer #5: What does “buy God” mean? God must be inside - in your heart!

Salesman: (grinning) What does it give when God is in the heart?

    Buyer #5:
    - When God is in the heart, then you don’t need to look for him and you don’t need to go to him (that is, you don’t have to go to church), he’s always with you anyway. But you never know what kind of people gather in a church, and there are different types of churches. You come there, they look at you wrong, they say something wrong, and it all irritates you so much. And when God is inside, there is always such peace and tranquility in the soul. Being together with God is much better than being with people in church...
    - When God is in the heart, then it is not at all necessary to pray to him, because he lives in me and he himself knows what I want to ask him for...
    - When God is in the heart, then he himself teaches me with divine revelations (therefore it is not necessary to read the Bible). The Lord himself will teach everything...
    - When God is in the heart, then there is no need to serve him, because it is written that he “does not require the service of human hands”...
    - When God is in the heart, then there is no need to change, because God himself changes me from the inside, because he is inside me. And besides, I’m already good enough: I give alms, feed homeless animals, and in general I don’t wish anything bad to anyone and I love everyone...

Salesman: How interesting. And, let me ask you, how do others know that your god lives in your heart?

Buyer #5: Hmmm... ( lost in thought) This is a difficult question... I don’t even know...

Salesman: (joyfully) ABOUT! I have something for you... ( removes the large cross from the chest and places it around the buyer’s neck). Now, anyone will see that God lives in your heart, and you can always take him with you, you can always touch him, and even kiss him. And you don’t need to do anything else, because your god will do the rest for you.

Buyer #5: (looking at the cross with admiration) Yessssss? Wow! How much does it cost?

Salesman: For you – not at all. I take it from my heart and give it to you free of charge, as my last client today.

Buyer #5: (thanks the seller and leaves with a blissful smile, stroking the cross)

    Act six

Salesman: (Left alone, he calculates the proceeds) So the day has passed. I did a great job. There was a good sale today. ( Hang up the CLOSED sign and get ready to leave.).

Suddenly, out of nowhere, another customer runs up to the booth, out of breath, with string bags in her hands (she had been walking around the fair for so long and was carried away by her purchases that by god she reached the seller’s booth by the time it closed).

Buyer #6: What, are you already closed? And they told me that you are selling gods...

Salesman: (perked up) Do you need God?

Buyer #6: Yes, I need... I really need God.

Salesman: Do you need such a God? ( defiantly pulls the cross hanging around his neck towards the buyer, inviting him to buy it)

Buyer #6: No-o-o-o-o... This is too primitive a religion for weaklings and the mentally unstable ( twirls his finger at his temple). I would like something like this... rare, intricate, unusual... And for God to be so special, so exotic, so magical... So... so... ( inspired, but then stopped short). But you probably don’t have that. ( Quite sad) And you’ve already closed your stall. I came too late...

Salesman: (comforting) Don't be so upset. Just think, the stall is closed. Yes, I have so many more stalls at this fair! Yes, I can offer you so many gods that it will take your breath away... Come with me... ( takes the customer by the arm and goes to another stall behind the scenes) I can offer different gods ( bending your fingers): Buddha, Allah, Krishna, Mammon, Moloch, Dagon, Baal, Astarte, Venus, Zeus, Cupid and many others. Choose anyone... ( and so the two of them leave the stage).

As they leave the stage, music begins to play, signaling to the audience that the first act has ended. It continues during the change of scenery and continues until the second act begins.

    ACT TWO: “IN HELL”
    Act One: Meeting Satan

To the sounds of frightening music and special effects (smoke or fog, strobe, red lamp), buyers enter the stage from different sides. Each of them carries his own god. They all meet in the middle of the stage in front of the gates of HELL (an arch on which red lights are lit, the inscription “Hell” or “Welcome to Hell”). Everyone has a silent question on their face...

    Buyer #1: Where am I?
Buyer #2: What kind of place is it?
Buyer #3: What is this, Hell???
    Buyer #4: Can't be!
Buyer #5: I understand, Buddhists, Muslims, Hare Krishnas and other pagans... But how did we, Christians, end up here?!?

A man in a hat appears on stage. It is visible to buyers and spectators only from the back. With slow steps, unnoticed by buyers and spectators, he walks to the middle of the stage beyond the gates of Hell. However, one of the buyers manages to notice him.

Buyer #1: Look, this is the seller from the fair who sold me this god ( shows everyone his deity).
Buyer #2: So he is to me sold god (shows his god)
Buyer #3: And me! ( shows his god)
Buyer #4: And me! ( shows his god)
Buyer #5: He sold us all the gods! ( shows his god)

Buyer #2: This He It's my fault that I ended up in HELL!
Buyers No. 3, 4, 5: Of course he is!!! He!!!
Buyer #1: Well, now he will get it from me.

Customer #1 with an angry look on his face approaches the Seller of Gods and rips off his hat, intending to beat him. The seller turns to the buyers and the audience. Everyone sees that this is Satan (red horns appear from under the removed hat, under the cloak there is a red trowel, in the hands of a red trident). Customers recoil from Satan in horror and screams.

    Buyer #5: You??? It's you???
    Buyer #4: How could you?
Buyer #3: You deceived us all!!!
Buyer #2: You sold us fake gods!
    Buyer #1: Deceiver!

Satan: Just a minute. I didn't deceive anyone. I sold you what you asked me for. Each of you sought your own god. And each of you got what you wanted. All your conditions have been met. There are no complaints against me... ( turns around and goes to Hell through the gate)

Buyers, out of hopelessness, begin to rush around the stage, looking for a way out of Hell from this terrible place. Suddenly one of them notices an angel who stands aside on an elevated place and sadly watches what is happening.

Buyer #1: Look... (everyone turns around)
Buyer #2: This is God's angel!
Buyer #3: Let's turn to him. May be, He will help us get out of Hell.

All buyers go to the angel and turn to him with a question and request...

Buyer #4: Angel, this is some kind of mistake. We couldn't get here! We are believers! We are Christians ( everyone defiantly shakes their gods and assents) Please help us find a way out of this terrible place...

Angel: (addressing those in Hell) Friends, while living on earth, you did not look for the True Living God, who gives salvation and eternal life. You were looking for convenient gods for yourself who would please your pride and fulfill all your whims. You were looking for a convenient religion, and you found it. Your place - Here, in hell. (Angel pointing finger at the gates of Hell).

With the last words of the Angel, frightening music and sounds of Hell are heard again (screams, groans, crying, howls and gnashing of teeth), smoke rises in clouds on the stage... One after another, the buyers are doomed to Hell through the gates of Hell, and each one exclaims sorrowfully.

    Buyer #1: Damn it!
    Buyer #2: We jumped!
Buyer #3: This is where these gods have brought us!
Buyer #4: I was warned that I would go to Hell...
Buyer #5: I knew it! What a fool I am!

Each of them says his line, passes through the gates of Hell, throws his god to the ground, bends down and freezes in a suffering pose.

Act Two: Monologue of an Angel

The scene in Hell continues for some time: smoke, crying, groans and frightening music. But soon it gives way to the sounds of other music. To the tune of “Holy Night,” an angel appears on stage. He goes to the middle of the stage, closer to the audience (leaving hell with its inhabitants behind him). Stopping in the middle of the stage, he addresses the audience with outstretched arms. The music fades a little.

Angel: Friends, did you see what happened to them? They won't be able to change anything. But you still have time and opportunity to find salvation. Don't look for convenient gods for yourself! Look for the one true one living God, who came into our world in the flesh to atone for our sins by his death on the cross and grant us forgiveness and eternal life. ( pause)

Angel: Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life! Come to Him before it's too late. ( pause)

Angel: Let Christ be born in your heart this Christmas.

The music is louder. After a short pause, all participants in the production stand up and come forward. There, holding hands, they bow to the audience and leave the stage to unanimous applause..

    END

NOTES: The final phrase of the angel may be changed depending on the holiday in connection with which the production is being made. Instead of words "Let Christ be born in your heart this Christmas" During Easter you can say: “Jesus died on the cross and for your sins. Repent and accept this sacrifice and the gift of eternal life.".

    SCENERY AND PROPS:

    1. Step one:

    • Buyers do not need special suits.
    • The seller of gods should be dressed like a salesman, like a cowboy, etc. - so that he is sharply different from the customers (the main thing is that he has a hat on his head).
    • Customer #4 should come on stage with a stack of books.
    • Decoration: An arch entwined with New Year's colored lights and tinsel, or something resembling a bench at a fair.
    • The inscription “Fair of the Gods” (in capital letters).
    • Five gods: a figurine of Santa Claus, an icon (“Trinity”), a Catholic idol (one of the saints, always with a cross), a thin Bible (a folder with several pages on which several Bible verses are printed), a large cross on a chain for buyer No. 5 , several crosses that should hang around the neck of the seller of gods.
    2. Act two:
    • The customers are dressed as in the first act (each of them holds his own god in his hands)
    • The buyer is dressed differently: a red trowel, a black cloak or cape on his shoulders, red horns under his hat, and a trident in his hands. There may be makeup on the face.
    • The angel is dressed in white shiny clothes.
    • Decoration: An arch entwined with New Year's lights and red tinsel. But in the second act, only red lights are lit. Perhaps there is an inscription above the arch: “Hell” or “Welcome to Hell.” On the stage there are decorations in the form of hellish flames.
    • Special effects: Strobe, red lamp, machine that produces artificial smoke for scenes.
    • Musical effects: music between acts, scary music, sounds of Hell, “Holy Night” melody.
